I started learning Pilates with Amy in a studio but she has made the switch to online so easy and accessible. I was a complete beginner but she has made learning fun - her instructions are clear and understandable (but also funny!) I would recommend giving one of her classes a go and I'm certain you'll want to do more.

Amy is a wonderful Pilates teacher. Her classes are interesting, challenging, and always enjoyable. I love learning Pilates with her so much I got my entire family to join, too! Highly recommended.

Amy came highly recommended when I decided to join her classes. I had tried Pilates before (and given up), but Amy's teaching made a world of difference. She is a superb teacher! She really understands how bodies work, and can tailor her advice and instructions to the individual. Her gentle encouragement and caring attitude helped keep my motivation up. Classes work so well on zoom too, as she gives her full and undivided attention to each and every student in the small class. One year later, the results speak for themselves but, thanks to Amy, the process is also enjoyable and rewarding.

Having never tried Pilates pre-lockdown, I wasn't sure what to expect or how long I'd keep it up. Fast forward over a year and I always look forward to the weekly group class with Amy! No class is the same, as Amy manages to bring in new exercises coupled with deconstructing regular ones to improve the technique. Her balance of humour, praise and attention to each individual's movements/strengthens/limitations, make it a highly interactive and enjoyable class. Incredibly experienced and enthusiastic instructor - I (and my far more visible core) would highly recommend!

My very first experience of Pilates and so glad and grateful that Amy was recommended to me! I look forward to my weekly session and after only 7 sessions already feel the benefits. Amy is an excellent teacher. She manages to combine praise, encouragement and challenge. Despite the classes being online I am impressed on how observant Amy is; she is able to analyse every move thus making the class really beneficial. Her excellent knowledge of Pilates and how the body works are evident.

I have been going to Amy's classes for a few years now: both in person (pre-COVID!!) and for the last year on Zoom. I love her Pilates style: lots of core strength work for my middle aged body. She's good at pushing me, gently and coercively. She operates at different levels and I've enjoyed stepping up to the intermediate class; much harder, but much better for me! Mostly, although she's a great teacher, and communicates her ideas well, she doesn't take herself too seriously and this makes for an enjoyable class.

I am delighted to be pain free thanks to Amy. Having had back and joint problems for over 20 years and tried a number of Pilates teachers, I didn’t even consider that I could be pain free but just hoped to maintain things as they were. However, after a year of individual and group classes -one of each a week, I am no longer taking any medication and am able to do more exercise overall. All Amy’s classes are enjoyable, and her gentle encouragement really helps. Her attention to my every movement and understanding of my body’s limitations, even in group classes has given me confidence to work harder without fear of injury. I just wish I had found her classes sooner.

Amy is really good at explaining how an exercise should be performed, and why the details matter, so you're never just doing something because that's the standard sequence. I have rediscovered bits of my body I had pretty much forgotten about, and most of it now works a lot better than it did. You also get occasional glimpses of a small dog, if that's something that appeals.

I was reluctant to start Pilates because I thought I would awful at it! but to my surprise I took to it well. This is mainly due to Amy being such a great teacher, so patient and understanding and offering personal attention to the injuries I had. I now attend two classes a week and a one to one session. Amy has helped me strengthen my body and I now feel so much better than I did before I started. I thoroughly enjoy the classes, you really feel that you have achieved something and Amy makes it fun, she also doesn't miss a thing and corrects you as necessary!

I've been taking classes & one-to-one sessions with Amy for over a year now & look forward to them every time. Amy's eye for detail, her memory for past injuries or niggles, (she makes lots of notes!) her ability to spot a problem is amazing. She varies routines every time & is always happy to work on particular needs or problem areas. Her knowledge & enthusiasm is awesome & the difference Pilates makes to health, strength, flexibility & general wellbeing cannot be over estimated whatever your age.
