Beautiful house and grounds. Julia was a wonderful host and very attentive. Would go back.

It's not really fair of me to rate this place because I haven't stayed here yet, very fact that I was viewing it shows I was interested & Google asked me to review, I can see it's received 5 *s from all if not most of its occupants so I'll give it a 4* for the above reasons but if host feels that's unfair, I will remove my review, it appears to be lovely in all respects, price is mostly my deciding factor after location but I go for individuality over the chains like Travelodge, Premier Inn, Holiday Inn & the Britannia chain for example because they're generic & you could be anywhere & get the same thing. I like a different, memorable experience everywhere I go & I get the impression this one is such a unique place

Pembroke House would be my first choice in the area. A homely feeling, Julia is delightful, I felt like staying another night just to chat with her. My room was perfect, slept so well.

Me and my partner stayed at pembroke house last Friday night until Saturday morning ...Julia was most welcoming and the house was great..clean and warm,even when it started to snow...very comfortable bed and hot shower/bath...In the morning we had a cooked in front of us a full English breakfast with toast and juice on the kitchen table..With Julia and a nice man from Australia...We would definitely recommend you to stay here and we would definitely come and stay again...Thank you Julia for a great time...Spence and Ann Marie...

I stay here every year when playing in a golf competition at Worplesdon Golf Club and I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else. It is a dream location, the lady of the house is most welcoming and the breakfasts are to die for.
